How does BacTANK T3 work to control odor?

BacTANK 3 employs multiple strains of spore bacteria that are specifically designed to attack the bacteria that cause odors in the heads & holding tanks. When human waste is introduced to the tank, our non-pathogenic bacteria produce enzymes. These enzymes convert the waste into a food source for the bacteria. The bacteria need this food to reproduce and continue the cycle for deodorizing and degrading waste. This is completing nature’s cycle.

How does BacTANK T3 benefit holding tanks, lines & outside odors?

BacTANK T3 protects the boater’s investment & improves his or her relationship with dock-mates. This microbial product totally eliminates the need to use HARSH chemicals, thus preserving the integrity of the boat’s tanks and lines. It is recommended that you start with a clean tank when first beginning to use the product. When the tank is clean, pour 4 to 6 ounces into each toilet and flush. Ordinarily, waste odors permeate tank walls and lines causing odors to escape into the boat necessitating frequent pump outs and flushing out the tanks with ample water. Not so with BacTANK T3! It starts to work immediately and keeps working until the waste is degraded. After a pump out it is a good housekeeping practice to pour some of the product down the pump out ports. Put approximately 6 to 8 ounces down each toilets to recharge the system after pumping out.

It is highly recommended that you clean out your toilet with a product designed to work with the Holding Tank product - BacTANK T3 SAFESCRUB. It is balanced against our Holding Tank product and made by us with the same microbes and controlled pH. DO NOT USE ANY TYPE OF BLEACH OR CHEMICALS OR VINEGAR OR SO CALLED “GREEN” CHLORINE PRODUCTS.
